"Let Jesus lead your life because He is the true alpha!" by: Caleb Gibson

With this New Super bowl win, Brady solidifies his name as the alpha of all of those that have played in the NFL.
While Tom Brady is an alpha of the NFL, Jesus is the original alpha.
Revelation 21:4-6 tells us, “…Then He who sat on the throne said, ‘Behold, I make all things new.’
“And He said to me, ‘Write, for these words are true and faithful.’ “And He said to me, ‘It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. I will give of the fountain of the water of life freely to him who thirsts.’”
God offers salvation to anyone who thirsts for it.
The book of Revelation is a book full of symbols.
It is also controversial so there are many interpretations on this book.
I love the first verse which says, “The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave Him to show His servants - things which must shortly take place. And He sent and signified it by His angel to His servant John,” (Revelation 1:1).
Whatever you believe about Revelation, you should have a revelation of Jesus by the end of it.
Think about relationships, why does God want men to be the head of the house? Because it is masculine energy to lead.
This is the way God ordained it. Men are not to be egotistical and rule in a damaging way, but we are called to love as Christ loved the church.
Imagine a couple hiking, the man leads in front to make sure there isn’t any danger in the road ahead. In the same way, the man should be the last.
A true man places himself before others. If the ship is going down, the man should be the last one onto the rescue boat.
We are all called to love just as Jesus loves.
Do you ever see Jesus trying to be prove who He was?
No, instead we see Him leading because He knew that He was the alpha and the omega.
Many men want to be the alpha male, but are we willing to be the omega also?
Are we willing to be a servant to our friends, family, and the people we love?
Because that is the true heart of a great leader.
In Revelation 21:6, God identifies himself as “Alpha and Omega.”
Alpha is the first letter of the Greek alphabet, and omega is the last letter of the alphabet.
In other words, God is “the beginning and the end.”
The Hebrew language uses, Aleph-Tav, for the first and the last. Jesus is the aleph-tav.
Does this mean that this was the authors’ intended meaning?
No, but Jesus is throughout the Old Testament.
In many Scriptures, this Aleph-Tav is left untranslated.
I believe that we can look at this and remember that Jesus is there even when we don’t realize it.
God was there in the beginning and He will be there with you until the end!
If you do not believe in Jesus, your life will end, but if you have faith in the Cross, you will not perish!
Our life will not come to an end because He gives us, “eternal life” (John 3:16).
Jesus is the, “…author and finisher of our faith…” (Hebrews 12:1-2).
The one who gave us the strength to begin this marathon of faith will be there at the end.
Let Jesus lead your life because He is the true alpha!
