"Tidehaven hires engineer for stadium renovation design" by: Jessica Shepard

Tidehaven ISD trustees unanimously approved hiring a professional engineering firm to design project specifications for possible renovations to Delvin Taska stadium during trustees regular board meeting Monday night.
Kenneth Jurado, with Texas Sports and Lighting, has over 12 years in sports complex construction and about 120 projects completed under his belt.
“We’re really looking forward to working with him,” said Stephen Crow, board president.
“He comes highly recommended,” Crow added.
Trustees have been exploring stadium renovation options for months.
“Right now, we’re trying to get as much information as possible to make the best decisions for our students,” said Crow.
“I’m not saying we go one way over another, I just want the board to be fully informed before we vote to approve anything specific or start going out for bids.”
Jurado is tasked with designing the facility and itemizing each new feature the board wishes to explore.
