Johnny Duane Alexander

   Johnny Duane Alexander, age 75, was born February 29, 1944 and died on June 17, 2019. 
   He was born and raised in Bay City, Texas. Johnny worked as a mechanic and wrecker driver for Coastal Automotive for most of his life. 
   He enjoyed riding motorcycles, attending car shows and teaching his grandchildren how to do maintenance on their vehicles. 
   Johnny is survived by: his wife, Linda Alexander of 56 years; his children, Robert (Christie) Alexander of Clute, and Jamie Holmes (Billy) of Bay City; his six grandchildren, Brandie Alexander (Caleb) of Bay City, Tara Tanner (Kyle) of Palacios, Cameron White (Samantha) of Conroe, Mackenzie Alexander of Wharton, Paige Holmes and Ayden Holmes of Bay City.
   Also: his great-grandchildren, Zyphera, Kynlee, Adalynn and one on the way; his two lifelong friends, Ronnie Radford and Joe Valdez; and his coworkers, Edward Cantu and Cameron Quick that were like family to him. 
   He is preceded in death by: his mother, Ruth Hobizal; stepfather, Mike Hobizal; his father, Wilbur Alexander; and his longtime boss, James Dancer. 
   There will be a memorial service at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Bay City at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 20. 
   Everyone is welcome to come and say your final “See you later.”
