Holy Cross has new principal

   Holy Cross Catholic School parents and students have a chance to meet new principal Angela Kupcho, 4-5:30 p.m. Monday, Aug. 12.
   Kupcho is the new principal at Holy Cross Catholic School and has over two decades of public school experience, both as a teacher and administrator. 
   “Children are the only future the human race has - so teach them well,’ both in spiritual values as well as academically,” said Kupcho in regards as to why she entered education.
   “God bless and keep us now and forever.”
   She is a lifelong learner and brings a positive insight to Holy Cross. 
   Her goal is to support the faculty, staff, students and their families, while also being an active part of the parish and community.  
   Angela is a member of Our Lady of the Gulf Catholic Church in Port Lavaca where she lives with her husband, two of four daughters as well as her two grandchildren. 
   She is originally from Allentown, Pa., and joined the Catholic Church in 1992 after attending RCIA classes at St. Andrews Catholic Church in Pleasanton, Texas.  
   School starts at 7:50 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 14.
