Ladycats claim bi-district crown
    The Bay City High School Ladycats defeated the Booker T. Washington Eagles for the bi-district volleyball Playoffs game Monday, Nov. 4. 
   Outstanding players were: 
   Patricia Waddy 10 kills
   Renata Dominguez 12 Kills
   A’mayah Payton 9 digs
   Micheala Brown 3 aces 
   Alexis Monroy led the Ladycats with over 30 assists. 
   “Monroy (starting setter) has proven to be a young yet, worthy leader on the floor,” said Ervette Powell, head BCHS volleyball coach. 
   “She is a true captain who continuously grows each game. Alexis Monroy lead her team to victory in Monday’s game against the Eagles. 
   Scores from Monday night: 25-10, 25-9, 25-18, 25-15 
   The Ladycats were to play the winner of Tuesday night’s game between Tarkington High School or  Little Cypress-Mauriceville High School for round 2 of the playoffs to advance in round 3.
