"Cedar Lane man’s arrest leads to shooting, internal investigation " by: Mike Reddell

   A Cedar Lane man faces four felony charges and bonds totaling $165,000 in connection with fighting with sheriff’s deputies who went to his residence to serve a felony warrant Oct. 25, the sheriff’s department reported.
      At one point as deputies were struggling to arrest the man, he grabbed a Taser, fired it and shocked a deputy, reports show.
   William Blake Moody, 34, of 11912 FM 457 in Cedar Lane, was arraigned on the following charges, with the specific bonds set: burglary of a habitation, $25,000; aggravated assault on a public servant, $100,000; resisting arresting or transport with a deadly weapon; and burglary of a building, $15,000, sheriff and jail reports show.
