"BCISD looks for AD, head football coach" by: Jessica Shepard

Bay City ISD has two new job openings to fill before next year; head football coach and Athletic Director as of Feb. 28.
Former head Blackcat football coach and athletic director (AD) Patrick Matthews bid farewell to the district Feb. 27.
Citing an amicable spit from the district, Matthews has returned to Houston.
“We currently have 23 applicants for head football coach and 11 for athletic director,” said BCISD Superintendent Dr. Marshall Scott, III.
The district has appointed Bryan Hood as the interim athletic director until a permanent one is hired.
Hood coaches track and defense players in football and teaches physics, chemistry and robotics.
“The positions were posted separately to give additional hiring and contractual options,” said Scott.
