"BCISD/TISD workshops explore possible future student outcomes" by: Jessica Shepard

   Both Bay City and Tidehaven ISD trustees reviewed “Evaluating and Improving Student Outcomes” (EISO) as part of board member training workshops last week.
   Region 3 Leadership Liaison Tony Williams told both boards that student outcomes hinged on adult behaviors and planning.
   “We just can’t do the things we did before and continue to be successful,” he explained.
   Williams told the board that adult behaviors change due to knowledge, skills and mindset.
   “You have to have your board and superintendent working collaboratively with the same vision, values and accountability goals in mind,” he added.
   “Once those are in place, you can begin to see improved student outcomes.”
