Bay City players celebrate a touchdown - officials soon followed with the official call. Players included Amario Holman (6), Logan Maclennan (62), Glenn Ihde (50) and Jessie Oros (61).

There is a route to the playoffs and to get there, the Blackcats must defeat Stafford in their last regular-season game and win by four points.
That’s Head Coach Robert Jones’ assessment of the District 12-4A-1 contest Friday night at Stafford (3-6, 2-2).
“Stafford has been playing well lately and by far is the most athletic team in the district,” Jones said this week.
“But we are in playoff mode - win or go home - so I know my seniors don’t want their season to end,” he added.
“So, we are up for the challenge we win by 4 and we get into the playoffs.
“We will focus on fundamentals like every week but if we tackle, tackle, tackle we will be fine,” Jones stressed.
The Blackcats (5-4, 1-3) are coming off a narrow loss to Needville, 56-49, here last Friday, in a game that saw Bay City fight to keep within striking range.
