   Coaches’ comments:
   Bob Button
We went into this one with only five girls, but they really battled.  We lost a close one, but it was because we ran out of kids.
Our girls dominated every race we were in.
I couldn’t be prouder of the efforts.
   Brazosport didn’t bring any boys.
Sweeny’s guys have improved over the last couple of weeks.
Senior Jordan Wright (12) put together a good lineup for us and the guys took care of business.
   Clare Button
Jose dove very well in his first meet.
We now have four boys who are pushing each other to learn new and more difficult dives each day.
   In other swim events:
“We are hosting a time trial event for our high school swimmers on Saturday, Nov. 14. Wharton will attend. Our junior high swimmers will race after the high school events are completed,” Button said.
