Tiger senior Nick Rodriguez is safe at home after the Palacios catches loses the ball. Tidehaven won the March 16 game 8-7.

   This week Tidehaven opened up district play with a 4-2 win over Hallettsville.   
   Kyus Saha dominated on mound with 6 shutout innings, striking out 9 giving up only 2 hits.    
   Hunter Little came in relief in the 7th and gave up 2 runs on 2 walks, 1 HBP and one hit in 2/3 innings.   
   Logan Crow got the final out. Leading hitter with 2 hits was Logan Crow.  
   Getting a huge 2-out, 2-rbi single was Kyus Saha.   
   On Friday, the Tigers traveled to the Flatonia tournament and got beat 17-6, game one against Round Top Carmine.  
   Connor Claxton pitched 3 innings, giving up the 5 runs, only 2 earned.   
   A combination of Hunter Little, Taylor Rickaway and Kevin Rickaway and Jackson Sones. Leading hitters with 2 hits each were Ricky Rubio and Connor Claxton.
    In game 2 Friday, the Tigers dropped a 7-4 game to Flatonia.  
   Hunter Little got the start and threw 2/3 of an ineffective inning, giving up 3 runs.   
   Jordan Duran relieved him and pitched the next 4 1/3 innings, giving up 4 runs, but only 1 earned due to 4 Tiger errors.  
   Getting 1 hit each were: Ricky Rubio, Logan Crow, Kyus Saha, Hunter Little, Kevin Rickaway and Jordan Duran.  
   On Saturday, the Tigers tied Nixon Smiley 3-3.   
   Jackson Sones started and threw 5 shutout innings striking out 8. Landon Piwonka came in relief throwing 1.2 innings, giving up 2 runs. 
   Logan Crow faced 2 batters giving up a run, and Jordan Duran pitched 1 shutout inning.  
   Leading hitter with 3 hits was Connor Claxton.   
   Getting 2 hits each were Jordan Duran and Logan Crow.  
   Kyus Saha and Taylor Rickaway had 1 hit.
