"DSHS: 22% vaccinated for COVID-19" by: Mike Reddell

Matagorda County now has 22% of its population fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
Texas’ total vaccinated is 25%, as of Tuesday April 27.
“Right now it appears that the rate of new infections is holding steady in Matagorda County,” said Aaron Fox MRMC’s Chief Business Development Officer and PIO.
“It’s interesting to see new infections trending lower highs and slightly higher lows over time, which, if you’re a glass-half-full kind of person, may indicate that we’re finding our ‘middle ground’ in context of the natural progression of the disease.
“Of course, this would be positively impacted by an increase in fully vaccinated residents, which is the goal,” Fox added.
