"County’s COVID-19 confirmed cases keep falling, vaccinations slowly rise" by: Mike Reddell

   New confirmed COVID-19 cases are following statewide trends and keep dropping.
   In its report Tuesday, June 8, the Department of State Health Services (DSHS) reported that Matagorda County had 30 confirmed cases over the past 14 days.
   That’s a per-capita average of 0.8 cases per 1,000 residents – way below previous week’s DSHS averages.
   Overall, the county has 3,507 confirmed cases, 725 probable cases and 114 deaths.
