Moreno rejoins BCPD with swearing in June 17

   A Bay City police officer who left the department to pursue opportunities has returned to where he started - Bay City Police Department.
   Officer Luis Moreno was sworn in by Police Chief Robert Lister in a ceremony at Municipal Court Thursday, June 17.
      Members of the new officer’s family plus several members of the police department were present. 
   Moreno has three children and two stepchildren with his wife, April Moreno. 
   He graduated from the police academy in 2010 and started his career with BCPD. 
   He left his position to pursue other professions. 
   After six years away, he decided it was time to come back to Bay City. 
   After the swearing in, the family was given a photo opportunity with the new officer.
