PSA: Financial tips for widows and widowers

Losing a spouse is a terribly painful experience.  Unfortunately, widows and widowers also must deal with a range of financial issues.  If you’ve recently been widowed, what moves should you consider?  For starters, don’t rush into any major decisions.

We have moved into June with May going out with a bang on Friday.    The personal consumption expenditure numbers were released Friday and it appeared to indicate that inflation was not coming down and basically stuck in place.

PSA: Don’t let investments take vacation

Summertime is almost here - and for many people that means it’s time to hit the road.  But even if you decide to take a vacation, you’ll want other areas of your life to keep working - especially your investments.

When ‘Mad Max: Fury Road’ came out in 2015, all I wanted to do was hear more about Charlize Theron’s “Imperator Furiosa” because she was arguably the best part of that film.  Little did I know that I’d get that chance in 2024 with the release of “Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga.”
