Bay City will take a homecoming win over Wharton last Friday and a 2-1 record into its game against 3-0 Vidor there Friday.    Trailing Wharton 9-7 at half, the Blackcats put up 14 unanswered points in the second half for a convincing 21-9 win over the Tigers.

BCHS Cross Country team finds improvements pay off

The Bay City Cross Country team recently competed in the Texas City Invitational and competed against great competition.       “Today, showed that hard work and motivation pays off which resulted in improvements and high team results,” said Cross Country Head Coach Rilea Sanders.

Tiger 8th graders rout Sharks

From Eddie Russell Tidehaven Assistant Athletic Director      The 8th grade Tigers hosted Palacios and won by the score of 38-0 Thursday, Sept. 9.      In the first quarter Bryce Sliva opened up the scoring for the Tigers on a 11 yard TD run, the 2-point try was no good.
