   Parks and Recreation Manager Kelly Penewitt led her board through its first meeting of 2026.  Members present include Jordan Piwonka, Denise Fortenberry, Chad Hartman, and Arnulfo Hinojosa, and those absent were Mike Griffith and Israel Ochoa.

Tigers open district with 3-0 loss to Columbus

   This week the Tigers opened up district with a 3-0 loss to Columbus.  Boogie Galvan had the lone hit.   On the mound, TJ Galvan went 6 innings, giving up 3 runs, only 1 earned, and striking out 5.    On Friday, we traveled to Weimar for a two-game tournament.
