Dowell to coach in Louisiana

   Just days after announcing his retiremen, Rodney Dowell, 55, is headed for the next chapter in his coaching career.    Dowell told the Bay City Sentinel that he accepted a position assistant football and softball coach at East Beareguard High School, in Louisiana.

Aquacats take 3rd in 2023 Champs swim meet

   The Bay City Aquacats competed in the 2023 Champs swim meet in Rosenberg on Saturday, June 24.      Bay City took 3rd place overall with a combined points total of 387, coming in behind Rosenberg (995 points) and Lake Jackson (577 points).
