Matagorda ISD students made a splash in Science using a Coastal Watershed Model to explore how runoff can impact our waterways and coastal ecosystems! Through this hands-on activity, students learned the difference between point-source and nonpoint-source pollution and discovered how everyday activities on land can affect the health of our creeks, rivers, bays, and ultimately the Gulf.
