BCPD announces promotions of 4 at Oct. 2 ceremony

   Bay City Police Department held a promotion ceremony for four of its members at Council Chambers Oct. 2.James King Police Chaplain  James King, a native of Rockwall, earned his bachelor’s degree from Ohio State University, where he was also a member of the university’s wrestling team.

   Bay City Community Development Corporation (BCCDC) board members participated in their annual strategic planning session last week.  Board members present include Ben Flores, Jim Folse, Jeanette Bell, Erandi Allison, and Alisha Cornett while those absent were Blayne Finlay and Clint Hewitt.

In addition to the meals, the church’s event featured a live auction, raffle, country store, and children’s activities.
