"Council OKs BCCDC pact with developer" by: Mike Reddell

   City Council authorized, on second reading, the Bay City Community Development Corporation (BCCDC) to enter into a contract with BC Development Group for a seven-year term.  The action was taken at council’s regular meeting Sept. 10.

   Matagorda County Museum hosts its annual Gourmet Guys fundraiser from 7-9 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 28, at the Bay City Civic Center, 201 7th St.    This year’s theme is “Chef’s Signature Dishes” and tickets are $40 per person.

   The Van Vleck Leopards fell to the Woodlands Christian Academy (TWCA) Warriors 45 to 35 in a non-district game at Van Vleck’s homecoming Friday, Sept. 13.
