If you read my column last week, you’ll know that I’ve been looking forward to “Beetlejuice Beetlejuice” for several years. Well, I caught a morning show last week and have the details on the sequel – plus, I loved it!

Kanye Williams, 19, of Bay City, was arrested and booked Wednesday, Sept. 4, in connection with the deaths of two females Kylie Folmar,19, and Haleigh Matchett, 17, who were passengers in the car he was driving.

A 22-year-old Bay City man was arrested on a warrant for online soliciting of a minor sexual conduct, Bay City police said. The warrant was served on Alejandro Matamoros, 22, of Bay City, in the 200 block of Avenue B in Van Vleck on Aug. 15.

Several Camofest Committee members resigned from volunteering their services last week. Resignations came from Tami Savage, Scott Savage, Meagan Griffith, Sheryl Vasek, Courtney Sones, and Clint Hewitt, who also attended the Camofest Committee meeting on Wednesday, Aug. 28.
