Extraordinary nurse recognized at MRMC

   Maya Wilkinson, BSN, RN of Matagorda Regional Medical Center (MRMC) was recently honored with The DAISY Award For Extraordinary Nurses.   The award is part of the DAISY Foundation’s programs to recognize the super-human efforts nurses perform every day.

Water conservation remains vitally important as we head into summer  AUSTIN – As the region’s water supplies continue to increase from recent rains, the Lower Colorado River Authority on Monday moved from Stage 2 to Stage 1 of its drought response.

They also learned from President, Mena Collins, about what's ahead with TRTA regarding the WEP, GPO, and other projects. Officers for the new year were also installed. Palm Village shootings send children fleeing parking lot

   Bay City police investigated an exchange of gunfire that left injuries on Palm Village Thursday night, May 23.   Officers were sent to the area of 1801 Palm Village on multiple complaints of shots fired.    When officers arrived they tried get information from several people at the scene.
