Sparklight’s ‘Charitable Giving Fund’ awards $3K Harvest House

   Sparklight recently awarded a $3,000 grant to Harvest House of Bay City through the company’s “Charitable Giving Fund.”    Harvest House was one of 29 nonprofits across the company’s 24-state footprint that received grants totaling more than $125,000 during the most recent award period.

   Matagorda ISD Superintendent Barbara Marchbanks has announced her retirement after 43 years of service in education in Texas schools.     “Serving children and school districts has always been my heart and passion,” said Marchbanks.
