BCISD names Jernigan as new Chief Financial Officer

   Bay City ISD announces the the hiring of Farrah Jernigan as the new Chief Financial Officer.  Jernigan brings nearly 20 years of experience in education and school district leadership to this important role.

   Matagorda County Youth Charities’ (MCYC) first-ever “Tastes & Tunes” event starts at noon this Saturday, Aug. 9, at the Matagorda County Fairgrounds.  The outdoor affair features live music, vendors, children’s attractions, and a “Chef Alley” experience featuring teams of cookers.
