Aquacat swimmers make top ten standings

   Aquacats competed at the C.C.A.A. Champs meet on Saturday, June 28 at the Lamar ISD Natatorium against all 10 teams in the region.   Walker Griffith swept all 3 of his individual events coming in 1st place.  Catherine Powers placed 3rd in two events and 4th in 25 backstroke.

Youth Leadership Program nationally honored

   Matagorda County “Youth Leadership Program” has once again been recognized; previously by the Texas Association of Counties with a Best Practices Award and this time with a 2025   Achievement Award from the National Association of Counties (NACo).
