   A Town Hall Meeting on Railroad Quiet Zones in Bay City drew about 25 people who had several questions about reducing train horn noise in a lively session Thursday, May 22.  “It’s taken us a long time to get here,” City Manager Scotty Jones remarked in her welcome.

   Parents and guardians escorted their Van Vleck High School 2025 graduates onto Burl McKinney Field on May 22.  Graduate Emily Rodgers led the National Anthem, along with the American and Texan pledges, before Lesley Hoffman gave the invocation.
