Matagorda Against Data Centers will host “The Cost of Data Centers” forum that runs from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Thursday, June 11, at the Matagorda County Fairgrounds, 4511 FM 2668, Bay City.
The forum focuses on data center resources uses and features Agriculture Commissioner Sid Miller, Clayton Tucker, who’s running for Agriculture Commissioner, Mike Rice, a software engineer with experience with data center architecture, and Kenneth Schustgereit, a longtime Texas water activist on groundwater protection water infrastructure and rural resource management.
