YK Communications announces the opening of applications for its annual Community Grants Program, in partnership with the Young Family Foundation and the Foundation for Rural Service (FRS).
Local community organizations in Ganado, El Campo, Louise, Danevang, and Markham are invited to apply for these grants, aimed at supporting initiatives that enhance the quality of life in rural communities.
The Young Family Foundation’s Community Grants Program aims to empower local organizations by providing financial assistance for projects that address community needs and promote sustainable development.
Past recipients have used the grants for various projects, such as enhancing emergency services, supporting educational initiatives, and improving infrastructure.
“In 2020, we used the grant to purchase ACR child restraint systems for our ambulances, and also a Binder Lift that helps our crews lift patients off the ground,” shared Garret Bubela of El Campo EMS.
“Working with the Young Family Foundation is amazing. They’re easy to get along with, and they communicate frequently.”
In addition to the Young Family Foundation Community Grants, YK Communications is also partnering with the Foundation for Rural Service (FRS) to offer further support to rural communities.
FRS’s grant program provides funding for projects that focus on areas such as education, economic development, and healthcare, among others.
Applications for both grant programs are now open, with deadlines of Sept. 1, 202, for the Young Family Foundation and Sept. 9, for the Foundation for Rural Service.
“We are committed to supporting the vibrant communities we serve,” said Russell Kacer, President of YK Communications.
“Through these grant programs, we aim to make a positive impact and contribute to the continued growth and prosperity of rural Texas.”
