Barn fire blamed on fireworks

   A barn fire blamed on fireworks not only heavily damaged the structure but the flames also destroyed a boat on a trailer, UTV and water well equipment at about 11:13 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 31, reports show.

Observance of Martin Luther King Day falls on Monday, Jan. 15 this year.    All federal offices including banking institutions and the United States Postal Service will be closed as well.    County and city offices will be closed in observance Monday.
