No one hurt in trailer fire at 2517 Nichols

   Fire destroyed a trailer at 2517 Nichols at about 6:32 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 8, Fire Marshal Dan Shook said.    First responding units Bay City Fire Department and Bay City Police Department identified smoke showing from the trailer at 2517 Nichols, unit No.

Police investigate multiple shots fired

   Police investigated a shots fired call in the 1300 block of 7th Street at 2:26 a.m. Friday, Dec. 30.     Before they arrived, dispatch told officers that multiple calls came in for shots fired in the area and one caller said that the shooting was coming from a sports bar.

   Commissioners Court unanimously approved a 10-year, 100% tax abatement for PCC Chemicals Corporation at a special meeting Friday, Dec. 30.
