   If you’ve driven downtown lately, you might have noticed a new business on the west side of the square.    Formerly known as the “Heart and Home” building, Help Inc. officially opened its doors in early October.    Located at 2140 Ave F, the store is open from 8:30 a.m. until 5:30 p.m.

   Tidehaven rolled over Brazos 47-0 in the regional playoff round last Friday, setting up a quarterfinal game with Poth in San Marcos this Friday.    Tidehaven compiled 548 total yards of offense in crushing Brazos, with 288 yards of rushing and 260 yards passing.

   Matagorda County Museum’s annual “Festival of Trees” exhibit is now open.    Featuring about 40 trees, the exhibit has a few new additions this year. “We have four new decorators this year,” said Museum Director Cynthia Armstrong.    “We have rearranged the way the trees are laid out.
