   Bay City Volunteer Fire Department:     On March 15, 2022 at 3:32 p.m., Bay City Volunteer Fire Department responded to a rescue at the 4600 block of 7th Street.     On March 19, 2022 at 1:34 p.m.
Photo/Zeinab Ghais Zeinab Ghais’ wings were painted at the Bay City Regional Airport. They incorporated their logo and “Buzz Light Year” inspired wings. Since they are always promoting events for children, the airport felt this was a great addition to their space, said Ghais.

   A 27-year-old Midfield man was arrested March 9 for the fatal shooting of a 34-year-old Van Vleck man on property west of Midfield, off Texas 111, Lt. Philip Hester, with the Matagorda County Sheriff’s Department said.
