"Israel updates board on progress of ‘Camofest’" by: Jessica Shepard

   Main Street Manager Tina Israel gave the latest “Camofest” event update to her board last week.   Those present for the Jan. 7 meeting were Kristi Lee, Karen Stephens, Carol Ann Huitt, Alice Lowery, Kaci Waller, Fran Baker, and Matthew Morales, while Cory McCray and Henry Perez were absent.

Fire damages shed used as closet, office

   A shed used as a closet and office caught fire Saturday, Jan. 10.   The Bay City Volunteer Fire Department, Bay City Police Department, and Bay City Fire Marshal’s Office responded to a report of a fire at 2300 Oak Dr. about noon Saturday.
