"Council approves issuing $5M in debt" by: Jessica Shepard

   City Council unanimously approved issuing and selling $5 million in Tax and Revenue Certificates of Obligation at their meeting last week.  All council members were present at the Tuesday night meeting.

Aggravated food truck robbery leads off BCPD reports

   Bay City police officers were sent to the 1000 block of Avenue G, about a robbery that had just taken place Thursday, July 24.  It was determined that a food truck owner had just arrived to work when a man pointed a gun at him and demanded money, police said.

   Main Street board members participated in a strategic planning workshop to focus on goals for the upcoming 2025-2026 fiscal year.  “I’m looking for direction from you, the board, on what matters most this year,” said Main Street Manager Tina Israel.
