"Tourism board hears DOD Festival update" by: Jessica Shepard

   Bay City Library and Cultural Arts Manager Amanda Garcia presented an update on the upcoming 7th Annual Dia de los Muertos Festival (DOD) to the Tourism Advisory Council on Monday afternoon.  This year’s festival is slated for Friday, Oct. 31, and Saturday, Nov. 1.

   As part of preparations for the new aquatic center project, Bay City Community Development Corporation (BCCDC) Executive Director Jessica Russell told her board that some business grant program funding was being scaled back for the 2025-2026 fiscal year budget at their meeting last week.
