  Bay City Independent School District Proposition A
  This is a tax increase
  Ratifying the ad valorem tax rate of $0.9698 per $100 valuation in the Bay City
  Independent School District for the current year, a rate that will result in an
  increase of 0 percent in maintenance and operations tax revenue for the District
  for the current year as compared to the preceding year, which is an additional $0,
  for the purpose of replacing the expired disaster pennies used for maintaining and
  operating the district.
  
  Bay City Independent School District Proposition B
  This is a tax increase; the issuance of bonds in the amount of
  $8,000,000 for the purpose of refunding all or a portion of the principal, interest,
  and redemption premium on certain previously issued maintenance tax
  obligations of the district, and the levy of taxes sufficient to pay the principal of
  and interest on the bonds.
