Lady Leps face Orangefield in area round

   The Lady Leps came out swinging with hot bats and defeated Onalaska 11–0 in 5 innings in the regional round.    Big nights at the plate came from Gigi Monroy, Kamryn Waller, Ierial Garcia, and Lakyn Matchett, who each recorded doubles and drove in RBIs.

10 BCHS athletes qualify for regional

   A total of 10 Bay City High School athletes qualified for Regionals after competing at the 4A-29/30 Area Track Meet last week.  Regionals will be May 1-2 at Texas A&M University at Kingsville (TAMUK).   The Blackcats finished second as a team.

Tristan Ortiz committed to Jarvis Christian University, where he plans to continue playing soccer while pursuing a degree in Kinesiology.

Tidehaven sends 8 athletes to regional

   Tidehaven’s Noah Riddick paced the Tigers at last week’s Area Meet.  Tidehaven will send eight athletes - including alternate - to the Regional meet in Seguin.  Riddick placed 4th at the Area Meet.

Tidehaven splits games with Industrial, Palacios

   The Tigers traveled to industrial last week and lost 4-0.    Stratton Crow threw another gem, going 6 innings, striking out 9, giving up 4 hits, 4 runs, only 2 earned. Kole Sengsourivong had the only 2 hits for Tidehaven.   On Friday, the Tigers traveled to Palacios and won 8-4.
