Aquacat swimmers make top ten standings

   Aquacats competed at the C.C.A.A. Champs meet on Saturday, June 28 at the Lamar ISD Natatorium against all 10 teams in the region.   Walker Griffith swept all 3 of his individual events coming in 1st place.  Catherine Powers placed 3rd in two events and 4th in 25 backstroke.

Hanson again chosen Region Coach of Year

   This is the second year in a row that Van Vleck High School Softball Coach Rebecca Hanson was named Texas High School Coaches Association (THSCA) Region 5 3A Coach of the Year for softball.   She is also at 190 wins in her head coaching career.

Van Vleck ISD officials noted their pride that all these young men have given to our program and community over the years. “What a great way for these two men to finish their careers as 2 of the best players the Houston area has to offer!”

Tidehaven ISD photo Tidehaven’s JV/B Team 7on7 group are in the state 7on7 tournament. They competed in the Ganado State Qualifying tournament and went 3-0. They defeated Ganado 36-35, Bloomington 49-6, and Rice 35-28. The 2025 7-on-7 State Tournament will be June 27-28 in College Station.
