Bay City ISD Athletics Three Blackcat powerlifters were state medalists at the Boy's State Meet in Abilene March 21: Jakob Pesina - State Runner-Up, 2nd in 275, 700 Squat, 520 Bench, 605 DL, 1825 Total; Jeremy Maradiaga - State Medalist, 5th in SHW, 680 Squat, 410 Bench, 530 DL, 1620 Total; Gustavo Ochoa - 12th in 220, 555 Squat, 405 Bench, 550 DL, 1510 Total.

BCISD photo Bay City ISD Athletics announced Bay City High School girls golfers Tanna Fair and Addison Smith on their place at the 1st Annual Bay City Invitational. Due to the weather, the tournament was shortened to only 9 holes. Tanna brought home 1st with a 46 and Addison placed 3rd with a score of 51.
