Tigers fall in Flatonia tourney

   The Tigers traveled to the Flatonia Tournament this past Thursday and Friday and were 0-3.    The first game was a 6-5 loss to Port Aransas. Ritchie ZGarcia got the start and went 5 innings, giving up 4 runs, only 1 earned on 5 hits striking out 6.

   Here are the results from the Boy’s Regional Powerlifting Meet in Navasota on March 6:               Team- 5th     Jakob Pesina- 1st in 275, 700 Squat, 520 Bench, 580 L, 1800 Total       *Set the Regional Bench Press Record for his weight class.

Lady Leps go into spring with wins

   The Van Vleck Lady Leopards Softball teams head into spring break on a good note.   The Leopards over the past two weeks have shown improvement by going 5 - 0 - 2. Their record now stands at 7 - 2 - 2.

Tiger Relays renamed to Mike Pierce Tiger Relays

   Tidehaven’s Tiger Relays will now be named Mike Pierce Tiger Relays for Pierce’s lengthy involvement in Tidehaven athletics.  Athletic Director David Lucio made the announcement to rename the event - starting in 2026 - during the relays last week.
