   Ever since I saw the first trailer for “The Woman King” I’ve been eagerly awaiting its arrival at our local theater.    At first, I was drawn in by its portrayal of the “Agojie” – an all-female warrior unit that protected the West African kingdom of Dahomey during the 17th to 19th centuries.

   I’m pretty sure that I’m the only person that finds it weird not to have birthday parties once you’ve reached a certain age.    I mean, there seems to be a lull between decades once you hit 30.    I can vaguely remember my last birthday party before I turned 30 was when I was 24 and in college.

   We were able to move the indexes and averages north for the first time in three weeks last week.    Some pointed to the fact that inflation while not tamed is at least slowing and should be coming down.

PSA: Should you stick with index-based investments?

   You may have heard that you can simplify your investment strategy just by owning index-based investments.    But is this a good idea?    An index-based fund mimics the performance of a market index, such as the S&P 500.
