   Until the Internet goes down or certain websites like Facebook are inaccessible for the better part of a day – I never really notice how much I rely on the service.     It isn’t as easy as it once was prior to the digital age we’re in now.

   Lately, I am amazed how often people take time to ask my opinion on what to invest in the stock market.     The primary reason is their savings are not earning them anything and they are starting to see inflation’s impact.  Usually it is too much money chasing too few objects.

   October is National Retirement Security Month.     If you’re still working, what can you do to help yourself achieve security during your retirement years?     For starters, contribute regularly to your tax-advantaged accounts, such as your IRA and 401(k).
