   Ava Hickl is the Salutatorian of Tidehaven High School’s Class of 2024.  Ava is the daughter of Jody and Cindy Hickl and the granddaughter of Ronald and Cynthia Hickl, Ruben and Elvia Gonzalez, and Joe Avila.  She’s also the sister to Brett and Zack Hickl.

   A total of 62 students will graduate from Tidehaven High School starting at 8 p.m. Friday, May 17, at Delvin Taska Memorial Stadium.  Valedictorian Kevin Rickaway and Salutatorian Ava Hickl will be recognized and give speeches addressing their fellow classmates and audience members.

   Stephanie Hajducek delivered an enthusiastic talk about bringing women into industry at Bay City Community Development Corporation (BCCDC)’s Something To Chew On luncheon series at Schulman’s MBG last week.
Monday, May 13, was signing day for Bay City High School student athletes Juan Martinez and Ke’Maurion Le’Day who signed the commitments with Cross Country Coach Rilea Sanders and Head Track Coach Robert Jones looking on. Both boys are continuing their education and athletic careers at Texas A&M Kingsville. Martinez will be running cross country and track, while Le’Day will be running track.
