   This week, Tidehaven was preparing for a quarterfinal game that’s a rematch with East Bernard, compounded with the loss of a former Tiger standout who died in a recent automobile accident.

   Matagorda County Museum’s annual “Festival of Trees” seasonal exhibit is now open.  Visitors can vote for their favorite trees across several categories including businesses, individuals, schools and daycares, and other clubs or organizations.
