"County hears opponents of data centers" by: Mike Reddell

   Commissioners Court heard more questions about data centers at the court’s regular meeting Monday, April 20.  Diane Howard and Cheryl Wilkins spoke again Monday about the lack of information from public entities on proposed and data centers in Matagorda County.

Early voting began April 20th

    Early voting began Monday, April 20, for the five municipal, school board and Caney Creek MUD elections Saturday, May 2.  Bay City City Council positions 1 and 2 are up for election Saturday, May 2.

Weekend events start April 23

   As of press time Monday afternoon, the weekend forecast features plenty of sun, a light breeze and temperatures in the mid-to-low 80s.  In fact, the weather is perfect starting on Thursday, April 23, and there are a few events happening then to help kick off your weekend.
