Sentinel Photo/Jessica Shepard State and local officials joined Wharton County Junior College and Tenaris in celebrating their 10-year "Manufacturing Technology Program" partnership on Wednesday, April 22. Since Aug. 2015, over 50 students have graduated from the program with associate degrees or other certifications.

Residents take advantage of City's 'Spring Cleanup'
Contributed photo Tidehaven JH & HS Choirs received Superior Ratings and each brought home a trophy from The Pride of Texas Choir Contest in Friendswood. They sang beautifully, learned from respected guest choir directors. The Tidehaven faculty family stepped up as a team to transport these 82 young singers. Special thanks choir bus drivers, J.J. Sanchez, Coach William Dowell, and Coach Craig Nairn for transporting our kids. Also, thanks to chaperones Kayla Mata and Amber Kay.

Vendors showed off a variety of wares from homemade jams and jellies to indoor and outdoor decorations, along with several informational booths and food trucks.
