BCPD arrests 3 after high-speed chase

   Bay City police arrested three Palacios men on several charges after a high-speed chase from Bay City to El Campo, Bay City police reported.     The episode began when Officer Tristan Trevino of was dispatched to 1930 Post Oak Way in reference to a suspicious circumstance at about 3:50 p.m.

   The Bay City Chamber of Commerce & Agriculture hosted a luncheon with District 22 Congressman Troy Nehls last Thursday.    “I know that there are issues going on in the Palacios and Matagorda County shrimping industries with imports affecting you in a huge way here,” said Nehls.
