   Commissioners unanimously approved “Juvenile Diversion Plans” for Justice of the Peace Precincts 1, 2, 4, and 6 during their Monday meeting.     All commissioners were present for the meeting.

"Crisis Center fundraiser returns Jan. 17" by: Jessica Shepard

   This year’s “17th Annual Chicken Fried Steak Dinner” Crisis Center fundraiser returns to the Bay City Civic Center.  The fundraiser will start with drive-through serving at 4 p.m. and lasts until sold out on Friday, Jan. 17, at the Bay City Civic Center, 201 7th St.  Doors open at 5 p.m.

"Commissioners OK 13 bonds, oaths" by: Jessica Shepard

   Commissioners unanimously approved 13 bonds and oaths for newly elected officials Jan. 1.  Those present included Bubba Cook, Bubba Frick, and Troy Shimek, while Mike Estlinbaum was absent.  The approval followed a nearly 30-minute swearing-in ceremony for state, county, and precinct officials.
