Turnout low in May 2 elections

   A total of 1,034 voters cast ballots in those election out of 15,346 registered voters.  The joint elections for Bay City and Palacios city and school races plus Caney Creek MUD Saturday, May 2, drew a quite low turnout.   Bay City ISD  Incumbent trustee Place 4 Priscilla Robinson was unopposed.

BCISD photo Bay City High School hosted its Scholar Breakfast last week, recognizing the hard work and dedication of some of BCHS outstanding students. The Scholar Breakfast celebrates students who have demonstrated a strong commitment to academic excellence. To qualify, students must have completed three years of a foreign language and four AP or dual credit courses.
